7 years teaching at Denver Dance Starz-
Rebecca Oryniak has enjoyed sharing her passion for dance with students at Denver Dance Starz for the past 7 years. Rebecca grew up in New Jersey. She started her dance experience at age 5 and has had over 22 years of dance training in New Jersey and New York. Rebecca teaches kindergarten in Jefferson County Public School District. In her spare time she spends time rock climbing, hiking, snowboarding and kayaking.
5 years teaching at Denver Dance Starz-
Lisa has been a teacher with Denver Dance Starz for 5 years primarily teaching technique, lyrical, and hip hop. She has danced since she was 5 years old and trained extensively in tap, jazz, lyrical and ballet. Lisa danced competitively through most of her younger years, and moved on to dancing on the varsity pom squad her freshman year in high school. She danced on Poms all four years in high school and was the team captain her junior and senior year. One of the highlights of Lisa’s pom experience was being selected to dance in Paris, France for a New Year’s Day Parade.
Since high school, Lisa has coached Broomfield High School’s Varsity Poms team, taught a variety of classes and continued to take classes for herself. Dance has always been Lisa’s passion and feels so fortunate to share her enthusiasm with such a talented group of young women and men!
9 years teaching at Denver Dance Starz-
Rachael grew up in Northern California. She holds a BFA in Dance and a BS in Business Management from the University of Arizona. For five years, Mrs. Harding was a member of the Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble in Denver. Rachael has traveled and lived in Europe as a freelance artist, toured throughout the States as a solo dancer, and currently performs with Interweave Dance theatre, Opera Colorado, and Moraporvida Contemporary Dance Company. She is currently pursuing her MFA in Dance from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Rachael has been a teacher at Denver Dance Starz for 9 years and continues to choreograph for various groups, solos and duets at the studio.
5 years teaching at Denver Dance Starz-
Brenda started dance at 13 years old in Indiana beginning with Jazz. She picked up tap the following year, and Ballet at age 15. Brenda began teaching dance while in high school at Lee Ann Stewarts Dance School. After High School she attended Purdue College to study Ballet, but missed teaching dance so much she returned to that for one more year at Lee Ann Stewarts Dance School. Brenda moved to Colorado to get some dance experience elsewhere. Brenda’s main goal is to share her passion for the arts with younger generations. Brenda is currently attending Naropa University working on a B.A. in Yoga. When Brenda is not dancing or studying, she is working as a Sushi Chef in Boulder. Brenda hopes to one day teach dance full time.
6 years teaching at Denver Dance Starz-
Rebecca started taking dance lessons at the age of 3 years old. She started competing when she was 7 years old. Rebecca has three very beautiful daughters (Brittani, Bethani, and Brooke) that are all very involved, and are part of the Denver Dance Starz family. Rebecca now has a handsome grandson, who will be the next Siminas dancer at Denver Dance Starz.
