About Our Studio - History
Denver Dance Starz began its 10th year on August 18, 2008. Located in the Mission Trace Shopping Center, DDS began in one room next to Vi’s Hallmark. Two years later, we expanded to two rooms and moved across the center next to the Water Store. This past year, we added the space located next to Sports Clips, bringing our total rooms to four. Here at Denver Dance Starz, our goal is to provide our students with quality dance instruction in a fun, professional and caring environment. At Denver Dance Starz, every dancer is a STAR!
Denver Dance Starz is a proud participant in local community events, such as the Mission Trace Trick-or-Treat Street, Thorntonfest and the Webster Lake Relay for Life. Our dancers have raised over $10,000 in the fight against cancer during the past 4 years. We have also donated dance shoes and dancewear to local charities and sponsored a dance-a-thon for a sister dancer studio in Biloxi, MS that was destroyed in Hurricane Katrina.
